FZYC’s home port is Balboa in sunny Southern California and is named after the famed Original Fun Zone built on the shores of the Balboa Penninsula in 1936. The Original Fun Zone was a family activity center from a simpler time and the Fun Zone Yacht Club is dedicated to keeping the memories and simple summer pleasures alive and well on the Newport Harbor.
